As a former undocumented immigrant, proud daughter of working-class parents, and granddaughter of farmers, I have experienced the complexity and beauty of learning a new culture and language while pursuing my dream of higher education.
My background and personal experiences have motivated me to dedicate my professional career and volunteer time to serving diverse communities through the nonprofit, philanthropy, and public sectors. I aim to use my skill set to create, connect, communicate, and challenge the narratives surrounding vulnerable communities.
