CHANGING THE WORLD ONE STORY AT THE TIME
About Me
As a former undocumented immigrant, proud daughter of working-class parents, and granddaughter of farmers, I have experienced the complexity and beauty of learning a new culture and language while pursuing my dream of higher education and upward mobility.
My background and personal experiences have motivated me to dedicate my professional career and volunteer time to serving diverse communities through the nonprofit, philanthropy, and public sectors.
Some of my most substantial professional assets include:
- storytelling with an asset-based framework;
- a strong ability and skills for planning, developing, and executing projects;
- the ability to multitask and redirect projects and priorities in times of change or crisis; and
- being a creative and innovative problem solver who enjoys collaborating with others to determine the best solution to a challenge.
My professional goal is to use my skill set to create, connect, communicate, and challenge the narratives surrounding vulnerable communities.

My Storytelling Framework
1.
Create
Create quality content that resonates with your target audience’s values and inspires them to take action.
2.
Connect
Connect change-makers with those ready to make a positive impact. Let’s work together to create a better world.
3.
Communicate
Communicate storytelling narratives that center equity and explore social determinants as conditions impacting individuals and communities.
4.
Challenge
Challenge myself and others to imagine and construct a community where everyone’s abilities and talents are recognized and valued. A place where opportunities are not limited by race, gender, or social status.
“They’ll tell you you’re too loud, that you need to wait your turn and ask the right people for permission. Do it anyway.”
— Alexandria Ocasio Cortez
